Join us and experience the rare pleasure of chatting with Legendary P-Funk Alumni Singer/Entertainer Shirley Hayden! Shirley Hayden became a member of the P-Funk girl group Parlet with Mallia Franklin Queen of Funk (research), and Jeanette Washington in 1978, replacing Debbie Wright. She also recorded on her first Parliament and Funkadelic albums in the same year (One Nation Under A Groove). She remained with Parlet until its demise in 1980. Shirley recorded on two of the three Parlet albums, "Invasion of the Booty Snatchers" and "Play Me or Trade Me." Shirley was also a member of the Kid Rock and the Twisted Brown Trucker band in 1999 and has recorded on three multi-platinum Kid Rock albums. Shirley has received "Gold, Platinum,and Diamond Awards for her work with Kid Rock!
